Apparently, its Mother's day and he made me sumptuous lunch, Mutton biryani. It was just awesome... in fact it was way better than mine. Although i wasnt worried about the outcome, all it mattered to me was his effort to make me happy. Thats the only thing i expect from him. I want him to make an effort to make me happy....it was so cute to see his message on the board this morning...little things like this do matter and I believe that these r the subtle things that keep a marriage alive...
I also wished my Mom and said that I love her...which was first time ever in my life i said to her...and she was soooooooooooo happy...which made me happy too...atlast thats what the essence of life i believe..make people around you happy...
On the occasion of Mother's day, I would like to share a short story that i read somewhere...
What makes all Mothers special –

When I came home drenched in the rain my brother said –
“Why don’t you take an umbrella with you !”
My sister said –
“Why didn’t you wait till the rain stopped !”
My father angrily said –
“You will only learn after getting a cold !”
But my mother while drying my hair said –
“Stupid rain !”
